To tell you the truth, i don't even believe a word of this news because the last time Nigerian Army posted Google map coordinates, they were all lies. Believing that they even killed 61 ISWAP fighters currently is beyond me. Cos there was a video where an Army personnel was against them killing Bandits and instead asked them not to shoot at them. With all these information and propaganda, there is nothing coming out of their mouths i believe. A country where the president and governors are outside the country, while terrorists attack us with bombs. A country where even the Army is compromised, that country is heading towards the sinkhole

Whenever there's an incident of terrorism in the northern part of Nigeria, which is Muslim-dominated, the Nigerian military describes the terrorists as 'suspected Boko Haram', but the moment they sight a motorcycle battery on the floor in Igboland, Eastern part of the country, which is Christian-dominated, the Nigerian military will be screaming 'IPOB/ESN bomb factory!!!' - is this really how to run an armed forces of a country?

PRESS RELEASE MULTIPLE SUICIDE BOMB EXPLOSIONS IN MAIDUGURI METROPOLIS The Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) wishes to inform the general public of suicide bomb explosions that occurred at about 7:05 p.m. on Monday, 16 March 2026, in Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC). The explosions were carried out by suspected Boko Haram terrorist suicide bombers who detonated improvised explosive devices at three different locations within the city, namely the Post Office area, Monday Market axis and the entrance to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) during the period of Iftar (breaking of fast). The cowardly attacks targeted crowded public areas in an attempt by the terrorists to inflict mass casualties and create panic within the metropolis. Troops of Operation HADIN KAI, in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team and other sister security agencies, responded swiftly to the incident and immediately secured and cordoned off the affected locations to prevent further harm. Emergency response teams, including personnel from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other medical service providers, promptly evacuated casualties to the General Hospital, Specialist Hospital and the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for urgent medical attention. Medical teams are currently attending to injured victims at various health facilities across the city, while emergency responders continue rescue and evacuation efforts at the affected locations. Preliminary information further indicates that the terrorists may have deployed multiple suicide bombers into Maiduguri with the intention of carrying out coordinated suicide bombings at crowded locations. Security forces have therefore intensified surveillance, patrols and counter-IED measures across the metropolis to track down any remaining suspects and prevent further attacks. Members of the public are therefore urged to remain calm but vigilant, avoid crowded areas where possible and promptly report any suspicious persons, unattended items or unusual activities to the nearest security agency. Operation HADIN KAI commiserates with the families of the victims and assures the public that troops and all security agencies remain fully committed to safeguarding lives and property while relentlessly pursuing terrorist elements responsible for these heinous acts. Y’all remember the Nigerian soldier who stopped a man walking home angrily because someone owed him ₦1,500 after he worked for them? At the checkpoint, the soldier asked what was wrong. The man explained his situation, and the soldier gave him a Fearless drink to calm his temper. After the story went viral on social media, Fearless drink company reached out to the soldier and sent him money to buy a brand new motorcycle for the man, Ola. Wait till you see his priceless reaction after receiving the bike.

It's quite obvious that Nigeria is gone! Systems are so decayed beyond recuperation. When a country's army has become an assembly of terrorists, the country is in trouble
Mujtahid Karigwe (Prophet of Thoughts)@Karigwe

It took @HQNigerianArmy less than just 24 hours to react and call @trigottista IPOB after he exposed their propaganda about finding a bomb in Alaigbo. Now, how many hours have gone and counting after three bomb blasts in Maiduguri that took lives and destroyed properties, and neither the Army nor any government agency has made a single statement about it? It shows that our government is more interested in bigotry than in the lives of Nigerians. The sad and funny thing is that tinubu is on photo ops disguised as a state visit to the UK.

We have 4th generation fighter jets that have probably never been used on terrorists since they were purchased. There are also reports of soldiers claiming that weapons were taken from them after being used on terrorists. How about drones? How many times have they been used?

The number one reason why terrorists are counting scores against Nigerian soldiers is because the govt does not give them the adequate weapons to fight. As a matter of fact, terrorists fight with better weapons than our soldiers. There is no bigger way to sabotage a soldier.

@IkennaUbboe @AjahLuiz37431 We don't need help from the West? I think we do. The West has the expertise and resources to help us combat terrorism. I want to see Nigeria work with the U.S. and U.K. to make sure we can protect our families and keep our country stable.

@AjahLuiz37431 But seriously we don't need their help. What exactly can they do to help us in any way? UK and U.S are long time allies but when the chips are down, UK didn't show up for partnership. Nigeria will be worst hit if UK can signal betrayal that much to the U.S

“Do not shoot at Boko Haram. Only defend yourselves when you encounter them, because their weapons are more powerful than yours,” said a Nigerian military commander.
uchechukwu@Uchechukwubiaf4

I recently stumbled on this video and I felt a wave of sadness. You can immediately see the lack of morale in the troops. This is so sad. We saw the Minister of Defence go before the National Assembly in February to defend its 2026 budget. The COAS office is not running on groundnut money either. These are massive institutional budgets. The kind of money that should not just buy hardware and fund operations but should also take care of the people doing the actual fighting. The soldier on ground. The man carrying rifle in Sambisa. The woman providing intelligence support in a forward operating base in Katsina. These are the people I am talking about. Because here is the thing. You can buy all the APCs and MRAPs in this world. You can hold all the strategy meetings in Abuja. But if the man pulling the trigger has not been paid his allowances in three months, if his family back home is suffering, if his barracks looks like something from a horror film, what exactly are we doing? Morale is not something you can just talk about in press conferences. It is something a soldier either has or does not have. And when he does not have it, it shows on the battlefield. What is the current state of barracks accommodation? Are troops in active theatres being rotated properly or are we just leaving the same men in the bush until they break down? When a soldier falls, is his family truly getting what they were promised? Are allowances reaching the rank and file or getting lost somewhere between Abuja and the frontline? I am asking because Nigerians deserve to know and our soldiers definitely deserve better. Dear Lt. Gen. Shaibu, Gen. Musa, nobody is questioning your commitment. But commitment must translate into something the ordinary soldier can feel. Visit the trenches more. Not with cameras and entourage, but to truly see what the boys are dealing with. Push welfare packages through. Make sure allowances land on time. Prioritise proper rotation of troops so we stop burning out the same set of people. These things are not extras. They are the absolute minimum. Nigeria asks its soldiers to give everything. The least we can do through our military leadership is make sure they are not giving everything on an empty stomach and a broken spirit. God bless the troops. God bless Nigeria. Copied

Who is doing the kidnapping if not the citizens? Is it foreigners that come from another country to kidnap our citizens? I'm not the kind of person's you gaslight from speaking the truth that I know very well. You see people involving in criminal actions at the comfort of their zone just to make money instead of us to condem it were using it for political campaign. Are you expecting the President to assign security to each citizen when we have only 230,000 thousand active military personnel to protect about 239 million Nigerians, you see the gap margins and yet non of the people complaining is ready to join the military. Will complaining online solve?
biolā@bafeez_

You’re asking me to make suggestions to someone on whose desk the bulk of responsibility lies? Are you serious? Must you defend this? Are citizens now kidnapping themselves? Look at what you’re typing. Stop this, I see you as more knowledgeable than this. Don’t say things like this outside This is ridiculous chief
