@TRACKINGTR0UBLE [ Purple couldn't help but just huff- closing the doors of the security room and essentially shoving Rose into the chair that they'd usually sit in. The crewmate quickly reached behind the monitors- as if they'd practiced grabbing the supplies a billion times in the past. ]

@SECURIMUTINY [ Rose didn’t bother denying that. ] “ I know , I know … I just don’t really think all that straight when I’m in the heat of a moment . ” [ Sheepishly, they trailed along behind Purple—trying their damn hardest not to move their hands or fingers anymore for the time being. ]

[ After hours of effort and frustration, Rose was pretty much done sweeping up all that glass. Only, they’ve yet to notice the amount of cuts in their hand. The ones from when they instinctively pressed the trash further into the bin without realizing, hey. That’s glass. Ow. ] +

@TRACKINGTR0UBLE “ Oh good god- c'mon, I have a first aid kit in security. ” [ Purple was /going to/ drag Rose by the hand- opting instead to grab them by their jacket this time considering that it could cause shards to dig deeper into their hands. ] “ You can be so reckless sometimes... Ugh. ”

@SECURIMUTINY “ shit , probably . I was being a little bit reckless earlier trying to throw some of these away . ” [ Now that Rose had the opportunity and awareness to do such, they’d glance down at their hands. … when. The hell did they have get that red?? ] “ hohh — ow ?? ”

@TRACKINGTR0UBLE “ Sorry-! I thought you heard me coming. ” [ They waved their hands around briefly in a sheepish manner, visor widening with the information that someone shattered a whole panel of glass. ] “ Literally how do you achieve that. And uh.. Yeah- did some of the shards get you? ”

@SECURIMUTINY “ HHOOLY — ” [ The repairmate flinched, head whipping right around. One of their hands clasped their chest, a nervous huff of a laugh escaping them. ] “ hi . hi purple . somebody managed to shatter an entire glass panel — one of the big ones . … wait , what —? ”

@TRACKINGTR0UBLE “ Replacing what, exactly? ” [ Purple asked while walking up to Rose, admittedly curious about what they were doing this time. The securitymate's gaze landed on her hands- growing worried for them as Violet took another few steps closer. ] “ Are.. Are you bleeding, Rose...? ”

[ With a quiet sigh and a brief period of rest, the handymate was right back to work. Sweeping and sweeping, back and forth and back again, until the floors were ridden of their newfound hazard. ] “ dunno how we’re gonna go about replacing that … ” ( open int ok ? ok )

@SECURIMUTINY “ mmmhm . it’ll be good for you in the long run . maybe … make a habit of that ? just a little break for like , an hour at most . ” [ They’d shrug. Rose… admittedly couldn’t say much. Couldn’t scold them either. They were in a similar boat. ] “ do what you want , though . ”

@TRACKINGTR0UBLE “ Oh! Uhm- yeah. Thanks. ” [ Purple was even more embarrassed now while taking Rose's hand, tucking their tablet back into their backpack before that as to not risk damaging it again. ] “ I should probably uhm.. Take a screen break. Haha.... (- . - ") ”

@TRACKINGTR0UBLE “ I uh.. Didn't mean to get startled. You're fine. ” [ Purple coughed as they nervously cleared their throat, likely trying to dismiss the fact that they'd fallen asleep- standing up. The crewmate didn't even seem confused, just more so... Embarrassed? Was this a common issue? ]

@SECURIMUTINY “ woah woah woah !! — ” [ Promptly, the repairmate would reach out to try and catch Purple—failing. Unfortunate. Instead, they offered a firm hand, an awkward giggle escaping them. ] “ sorry . didn’t mean to startle you . ”

I really need to stop staying up so late … tinkering with and fixing machinery into the dead of night is fun until you get a message at 2 am saying you need to be at Polus by 4 for some last minute repairs . my legs feel like jello .

@TRACKINGTR0UBLE [ Purple's visor seemed to widen immediately- hands tensing and nearly dropping their device, tripping as they barely caught it before it'd fall to the floor and the security guard would go with it. ] “ ghrk-!? wah! I'm up! ” [ They appeared startled- as if caught in a crime. ]

@TRACKINGTR0UBLE “ ... ” [ Purple didn't reply- the crewmate's squinted visor making it difficult to tell if they were just ignoring Rose- or if they'd somehow managed to fall asleep.. Standing up. Their thumb still sluggishly switching between the camera feeds on their now loosely held tablet. ]
