@SEDYproject Inclusion statement by YWD, parents & sport prof. #7: sport prof. state that terminology is challenging. They experience that it's hard to use the right words. Inclusion is not about language. Ask children what they need, what they can and what they like. #inclusion

The PAPAI programme has been partially developed in #ErasmusPlusSports collaboration @SEDYproject More information in English (such as PAPAI manual) inholland.nl/inhollandcom/a…
Aija Saari@aija_saari

The programme has been executed @FinnParalympic since 2017. More than 1000 kids have participated, with success rate almost 50%. Students from 〰20 universities get APA credits by acting as a personal adapted physical activity instructor. Children themselves decide try-outs.

@SEDYproject Inclusion statement by youth with disability, parents & sport professionals #4 Same rights & equality means: we all have the right to do sports and have hobbies (UN convention). One of the children said: “We’re all equal and we’re all different.” So it is! #inclusion

@SEDYproject Inclusion statement by youth with disability, parents & sport professionals #3 Everyone can participate means: it is easier to change activities than to change people. Coaches can be creative and help us to take part in our own way. Everyone can do sports! #inclusion
