@Mr_Hot997 You need to be great enough so people have a reason to send their application your way instead of somewhere else. So, put your best foot forward!
@louise_puaty We'll pass the message on Rachelle. 🫶 And, If we can lend a hand with the search at all feel free to send us a message. We're always happy to help. 🙂
@BigfootBillions Hey there. So sorry its giving you trouble. We can have Customer Service take a look at this for you. Pop a DM through to us and we can grab some details. 🙏
@kochhagayn We're not part of the hiring process itself Vinee, but drop us a message if you're after any advice or some help pointing in the right direction for visas etc. 🙂
@seekjobs Hi there, I am Vineet and and looking for a sponsorship job in Australia in healthcare and Insurance sectoe as Billing. Could you please help me ?
@posiedon1971 We understand changes like this can be frustrating. As background, we're testing ways to improve personalisation and provide the best possible job matches and recommendations. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to pass it on.
@seekjobs why are this mob forcing people to log in now to view their site? We are sick of being forced to register and provide out details for every site we have to visit!
@ali_kyteler You do need to sign in Alison, but it's not about tracking you. It's just so we can give you a more personal experience and tailored recommendations. Being signed into your Profile also gives you a bunch of other benefits that make searching and applying faster and easier. 😊
@normal_ness Great question Vanessa! Happens for a few reasons, Employer may have put the job in the wrong category, other times the search needs to be refined to target things better. If you let us know the kind of jobs you're looking for, we can help narrow things down for you. 🙏
@RupeshBhar5823 We're not a part of that part of the hiring process, but always here to lend a hand where we can, or offer any advice. Drop us a message any time Rupesh.
@prookx93x Sorry for the long delay replying. The answer is just that we don't have verification processes for all of those ID types as yet. We're slowly adding more as we set up those proper pathways to keep things secure and accurate. 🙂
@seekjobs why do you allow NZ and Philippines drivers licenses to be verified but not UK licenses even though they are recognised for working holiday makers in Australia?
@Melb2X Hey there. Thanks so much for the feedback M. We'll pass that onto the right team. If you need a hand with anything else, send us a message, and we can chat. 🙏
@LovedaySel86887 Thanks for this Selina. We'll pass the idea onto the team. While we're here, we now have the ability to verify some credentials and education. If you haven't checked that out yet, let us know and we can send through some details. ☺️
@seekjobs I recommend an area where potential employers can also see our showcase portfolio design and certificates (PDF/png) that verifies our our skills #seek#employment
@seekjobs Stuck on Seek Pass! 🛑 My passport doesn't have an NFC chip, so the verification step is blocking me.
@SeekPassSupport - How can I complete my digital ID profile without the NFC scan? Need help! #SeekPass#DigitalID#Support
@LovedaySel86887 Always here for a suggestion Selina. We'll pass it along to the team.
We're here any time if you're not sure a message is genuine too.
@seekjobs put a feature in the seek app so temp agencies can send you messages in there so it’s secure for us. I have had lots of fraud contact on my phone messages 😉 #seek#jobs
@LaneBrain_ We're not aware of anyone running into any issues verifying using the browser vs the app. So if somethings up we'd really like to get some details. Sorry to hear it.
Can you drop us a message with what's going on and we'll get it in front of the right people for you.
• this should be criminal
• @seekjobs using dirty deceptive dishonest tactics to block desktop verification and force Users to download the SEEK mobile app to verify their right to work
• fuck you SEEK
@seekjobs Okay! Thank you so much.
Maybe you can check on the backend if my Seek + Seek Pass accounts are properly linked.
When I am back to my computer, I will send more information.
I'm mad at whomever does the e-mail campaigns for Australia's @seekjobs (it's like LinkedIn), because I enjoy Seek itself generally in profile creation and submissions (plus no social media feed, thank goodness),
but 1. it keeps e-mailing me to verify credentials on Seek Pass that I've already done.. which makes me feel so anxious that my verifications are not getting to employers.
2. "Application update for [job]..." is so vague and anxiety-provoking. I have to then click in to then see.... "Unfortunately, it looks unlikely that your application will progress further. You may or may not still hear back from the employer."
Maybe it's phrased that way for legal reasons, but it's vague, vague, vague, vague, vague. The last thing someone wants during a job search is uncertainty. My throat feels like it drops into my stomach.
Also I read further down and usually the reason I'm getting a kickback are from this mandatory Q: "Your answer to the following question did not match the employer’s preferences: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?" to which I select "Full working rights, relationship visa" but I am not a PR/Citizen yet. There's still lots of automatic discrimination with this one, but it should only be that way if it's say, a government role. So this is a violation of the Fair Work Act. Oh thanks, Seek e-mail for the informative information. 😢. .
@bitpixi Thanks for the feedback. As context those updates are triggered by employer actions when viewing your application in SEEK. We can't be 100% on those but that's one way we've responded to ppl telling us they were frustrated with not hearing back (1/2)
