@SEGAInforment yeah that too since the culture surrounding sonic news accounts is for them to be entirely professional. So when ur profile has that same level of professionalism within that layout its the first conclusion they draw. This might put it into perspective better for you🙏

Wanna put a pin in this. Never in the history of this account have I positioned it as "professional". That was an assumption people put on me which I've never agreed with nor wanted. I'm a fan just like everyone else, I don't want to be seen as "special".

@brawl_miles This relates to an ever-existing problem many attach to me. The see me as a Sonic account. I'm a SEGA account. My main mission was to expose IP-specific fans to other SEGA IP. Sometimes I might talk more Sonic, or Persona, or Yakuza, but ultimately, it's SEGA, not Sonic.

@SEGAInforment there's nothing alluding to you being not associated with sega at an inital glance because of how good ur graphic design is haha and not everyones gonna be looking through ur tweets to find such so they assume that ur taking things seriously based off of that inital impression

@brawl_miles I appreciate that response. From day one, that "tonal dissonance" has existed. I want a platform that can inform people about SEGA beyond one single community, but also including a personality behind it so it never, ever got stale. Without both, Informant isn't Informant.

@SEGAInforment your personality definitely comes off in ur regular tweets but the tweets that most people are here for being the analytical ones cuz yk "sega informant" the tone switches to a much more professional one + combine that with ur layout and it leads to a bit of a tonal dissonance

I don't want to be seen without a personality and the ability to laugh in the face of tough times for the company. I knew the moment I made this account that I wanted to be information and personality driven. I'll never apologise for that.

I understand many bring up my graphic design but I earned that skillset and I won't purposefully ruin my work just so people know it's fan made or unofficial. If I spend time on something, I give it everything I've got to make it look real because that's the bar I reach for.
