Save the date! 📌 October 19 ✒ Just in three months time, there will be a multiplier event in Riga, Latvia on spoken Easy Language in museums, theaters, banks, and radio stations.

It's been a month and a half already since we did our first multiplier event in Trieste. The event was a great success. You can now find the materials (videos, slides, abstracts etc.) on our website. They are available in English and Italian language. selsi.eu/en/more-than-1…

On the multiplier event the speakers are presenting the SELSI research on spoken easy language and other topics pertinent to spoken easy language. There are also posters on the current state of research.

Who are we? Zavod RISA. Zavod Risa is a small non-governmental organisation from Slovenia. Risa creates Easy-To-Read information. Risa publishes guides, books and Easy-to-read newspaper. Risa teaches how to write and validate Easy-to-read texts.

Who are we? Information Collection and Dissemination Centre, Lithuania VšĮ Informacijos kaupimo ir sklaidos centras promotes the use of easy-to-read language in public institutions. It informs Lithuanian people with intellectual disabilities and their families information.

Who are we? Dyslexiförbundet Dyslexiförbundet (Sweden) is a national disability association. It is an organization of and for people who have difficulties reading, writing and calculating. Dyslexiförbundet works with guidance and support, information activities, education.

Who are we? Easy Language Agency (Vieglās valodas aģentūra) Easy Language Agency from Latvia prepares and publishes materials, conducts trainings and participates in projects to provide accessible information and represents the interests of target groups.

Who are we? University of Trieste. SELSI has 7 partners. University of Trieste offers a wide range of degree programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. They done research for many years in audiovisual translation, e.g. AD and easy AD and language simplification.

Who are we? Vilnius University. SELSI has 7 partners. Vilnius University is the largest and oldest university in Lithuania. There is an Institute of Applied Linguistics at Vilnius University. This institute focuses on: Language teaching, language use, easy language.
