@wtf1official @BackOfTheGridF1 @wearetherace, hear me out: -remove 1s trigger for DRS -make DRS a use limited tool (lapsXzones) X .75 = no. of DRS uses. Ex.Saudi: 50 laps X 3 zones=150 poss uses. 75% of 150=113. Drivers can deploy at will for offense or defense. #f1 #DRS @F1

On Monday’s episode, Kyle Larson spoke about the respect given to NASCAR drivers from racing fans around the world. Do you think NASCAR drivers get the international respect they deserve?

@TRulYExPliciT99 @Motor1com It’s a Ford. Ford is an American company. So regardless where it is finally assembled, it is an American product. What is so difficult about that concept?

Ford just broke a bunch of Nürburgring lap records with the GT Mk IV. With a time of 6 minutes and 15.977 seconds, the GT is: • The fastest American car • The fastest gas-powered car (non-hybrid) • Faster than the Mercedes-AMG One Watch the lap: motor1.com/news/791926/fo…

Custom orders of the Tesla Model S & X have come to an end. All that’s left are some in inventory. We will have an official ceremony to mark the ending of an era. I love those cars. This was me at production launch 14 years ago:

@KmbrKby @elonmusk If someone pays you to provide a platform, the platform should be grateful. The problem we have at hand in America is we don’t like the fact disagreement doesn’t mean degrading and berating.

@JK_316 @B577960 @F1JayyUK If we wait that long to device then we’re locked in for 2027 as well. It’s absurd. Chasing the 50/50 split is nonsense.

Pretty damning from Lando this is. “Honestly some of the racing, I didn’t even want to overtake Lewis. It’s just that my battery deploys, I don’t want it to deploy, but I can’t control it. So, I overtake him, and then I have no battery left, so he just flies past. This is not racing, this is yo-yoing. Even though he [Hamilton] says it’s not, it is yo-yoing.”

@JK_316 @SERDAFIED @F1JayyUK Not too sure about your first statement, yes it was controversial but it didn’t compromise the racing too much. This does and now the drivers hate it. Lando’s even changed his tune on it now. Max has been consistent on it, right from the outset.

@JK_316 @B577960 @F1JayyUK There is no since comparing this to some purity scale. The complaint is clear. There are too many energy management passes. Even ACCIDENTAL passes that a few drivers have reported. They don’t have full control over power delivery. That’s a problem.

@B577960 @SERDAFIED @F1JayyUK I've been watching F1 since 1999 and every single time there's been reg changes people initially absolutely hate it and then get used to it and go on to enjoy it. The regs we had weren't exactly "true racing" especially to what a purist from 1980 would say.

@JK_316 @B577960 @F1JayyUK Just because one thing was artificially generating overtakes (DRS) doesn’t mean the next thing can’t be the same or worse. Which it is. Boost mode replaced DRS. That’s equally artificial. The standard recharge/deploy part doubles down on the artificial aim to defeat dirty air.

@B577960 @F1JayyUK But then I can say it's the same thing when we had DRS. That was 'artificial' too. At least with this battery deployment the car ahead has a chance to retake the position when lost, even if it's said to be yo-yoing. Whereas DRS they often just flew by the car ahead.

@wise32GB @RBR_Daily Do you genuinely believe that Max doesn’t understand it isn’t feasible to fix over night? He’s very clearly stated that nothing truly transformative can happen right away, but he’s going to be watching very closely to what will be changed for 2027 & will decide his future then.

I know we all have different opinions about his view on the sport right now, but the truth is, he’s doing more harm than good by saying he’ll quit because of the new regulations. It really makes me question his commitment to the sport. We’ve all heard the drivers’ opinions on the new rules, they’ve made it clear that they don’t think the regulations are right for the long term. Still, they’ve voiced their concerns and carried on, which at least gives the FIA room to review and make adjustments. You can’t expect the FIA to scrap the new regulations immediately after such a huge investment. That’s just not realistic. I think Max is still young and needs to understand how these things work. What he’s fighting for might eventually be resolved, but if he leaves too soon, he could end up regretting it. In my opinion, he should follow the example of the other drivers adapt for now and wait to see how the FIA plans to improve things going forward.
