Humans were designed for life on Earth. We need Gravity as a huge part to sustain life. Gravity sustains our bones, heart, brain and eyes. On Mars, we would live underground to avoid the unyielding radiation. Also it will be hard to avoid perchlorates (the red dust) that get everywhere and is highly toxic to mankind.

This is what the night sky on Mars might look like. No light pollution. No thick atmosphere to scatter the stars. Just rust below and the entire galaxy above. No human has ever stood here to see it. Not yet.
