#RecordOfTheWeek are some Hair Ice Crust (Exidiopsis effusa) records, including this example spotted by Theresa Heal in Cwmfelinfach. This amazing fungus causes a distinctive ice formation in suitable weather conditions. Thanks to all who recorded the species during the cold snap

We're a week into #RecordEveryDayJanuary already! Have you managed to keep up? There's still time to get involved - just submit a record of a plant, animal or fungi you have seen on each day in January. Submit 31 consecutive wildlife records by 3rd Feb to be included in the draw.
