Nah I agree, and I think up until the middle of the 3rd quarter, they were doing well. At 6:48 in the third FT Line trips: Queta Chet JB JB SGA White JB JWill SGA SGA JB 4th Quarter: AC JT SGA SGA JB SGA White I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m js i’m not going to agree without evidence. We could make the same argument toward each other and it wouldn’t matter until each call is assessed which is where I start getting fatigued because no one else gets judged harder than SGA. But when OKC wasn’t shit and he was taking more FTs than he ever has, nobody cared. So it’s just interesting how all of a sudden this is a problem. Idk why it’s a problem now, I’ll leave that up to the masses.

@SGAisGoated @BiggLynch I disagree with you when you're playing two teams who are championship contenders last two nba champs two finals MVP playoffs atmosphere u have to avoid letting the whistle dictate the game and let them play more than you would normally

@StizzBVT @BiggLynch I wish I could post all of them. Because I have to disagree. Whether it’s illegal contact or hand placement or both. A foul is a foul. It doesn’t have to always result in someone on the floor or hearing a slapping sound.

Nahhh, I won’t go for that. Because as slick as offensive players are, defenders are too. The same way Offense uses momentum to their advantage, defenders do too. Doesn’t take much force at game speed to alter a players direction. We shit on the refs for the few calls they miss and never appreciate the ones they get right. If you’ve ever hooped against or with great competition, the amount of physicality that isn’t shown through the camera would surprise you. Referees look for that despite how hard it may look to us on tv. What looks “soft” on a 250 lb jacked athlete would send the average 180 lb man flying and flipping. The refs call that.

Oh nah that’s a bad call. Ref prolly saw or assumed White’s hand on the lower back. Often times that’s called because there’s a push but from this angle I can’t confirm or deny he pushed. I thought you were talking about the one where Shai got the push off and D White contested the middy pull cleanly.

@WolvesGotNext Referees in all sports are protected far too much by their leagues. At this level they should all be required for post game pressers and reports to be held accountable.

I will NOT let this go unnoticed dude This might be the most egregious abuse of power from any official in any sport I have quite ever seen in my entire life And to know Silver won’t give him anything for consequence even tho the entire NATION knew it a bad look is stupid

I just really wish y’all would watch more than ya’ll talk. “Players often avoid "push-off" calls because they use legal, restrained arm movements. Keeping the elbow bent rather than fully extending to create space. Refs often view these moves as marginal contact or attribute them to defender momentum.”
Shai²@SGAisGoated

The call when Jaylen Brown put his elbow in Cason Wallace’s jaw?? He didn’t get called for that, Cason did. And if it was earlier I think Shai was guarding him, he’s not getting called for a push off, he’s getting called for his arm being too high. You can’t swat people in the face. And JB has his elbow up near the chest a deck consistently. Even on the play where he made SGA bite he was high on his placement, but he didn’t push off so I’m chillin. Thats a bad habit he has got to address if he wants consistency from the referees. Shai doesn’t push off high, he shoulder bumps then forearms to defender with a BENT elbow which that is considered marginal contact by the rulebook. He does this so much that in the instance he does extend, during live game play it is easily missed but nit-picked by twitter in slow motion. Devin Booker, Luka, Tatum, Ja, Maxey, Harden, Mitchell all do this because it is a dribbling move. Some of the NBA’s best ankle breakers are because of this move whether it be a forearm to the back, front thigh or side. Payton Pritchard just did it to Vanderbilt last month WITH extension. But nobody cares, it’s hoops. I already acknowledged White.

It’s a high risk high reward move. I think if it’s egregious like arm in the chest elbow straight, hand out extension, it should be called. And I think referees need to go on the record and say exactly what they’re looking for so there is a standard on what should and shouldn’t be called. But I’m not going to hate a player because the referee sucks at their job. If you get away with it in real time, charge it to the game or get rid of the move completely.

@SGAisGoated The one with SGA i think was a no call the one on fast break where he was complaining about never extending his elbow but i mean u literally said SGA is better at hiding it so i guess we're saying the same thing I just think nobody should be getting any of those calls

This is going to be a long tweet, not directed at you, just felt this would be the time to address something. The only clear “phantom call” was against Derrick White and considering bias this case could be made for both sides which is why I dont entertain reffing debates, that’s a whole nother issue. Jaylen Brown jumped into his defender twice and JT once. The 4th quarter was taken over by the refs on both ends. Respectfully I know for a fact, you and most non OKC fans have never watched more than 8 OKC games in a regular season. So I can’t take your statement about knowing what the average SGA call is because I know what the average SGA call is. The typical SGA call that people don’t like is when he’s driving toward a short corner, creates contact with the shoulder then bounces off. It’s called a foul because the defender is usually sliding their feet to keep up and “isn’t in legal guarding position”. Another one is when he’s driving and the defender swipes across his torso to poke the ball out and he gathers immediately to create contact on either or both forearms. He does this in the triple threat as well. Another is when he’s face up dribbling and the defender has their hand sticking forward with the same sided foot sticking forward, Shai attacks the front foot, the defender switches their hip to try and stay in front, they place their hand across the torso or right on hip and Shai rips through and creates wrist or forearm contact. I could go on and on because these are normal basketball moves that you see in each and every game on every level. NBA PLAYERS KNOW THIS. They dont know how to defend it and every perennial scorer does it IF they can get to their spot successfully. We have to stop acting like drawing contact isn’t apart of the game. Most of NBA twitter would know this if they watched basketball because they appreciate basketball deeper than just a game. None of y’all watch Lowlights and Film Study any more. Just highlights and Scoring. No one cares about the foundation of Basketball anymore and it’s why NBA Media is so shit and allows untrue discourse. The league is full of amazing players and all everyone does is bitch about who did this and who does that. MOST of the players don’t gaf about any of it. But then you get childish actors like Jaylen Brown, Chris Finch, JB Bickerstaff, etc. that insult the game by not taking accountability for their inability to adjust and it poisons the product and it poisons all the fuck nuts on this app that have no desire other than to troll and be ignorant.
BVT@StizzBVT

@SGAisGoated @kody_ballard76 @twowayshai @Jamep474877 @GilgeousSZN But the difference is that is the average SGA call and everything against OKC there was literally 6+ phantom fouls minimum on OKC last night only egregious one I remember from Boston is JT jumping into defender for 3

Yes it was upheld as in the foul was called on Cason. I dont understand where we disagree there? My bad if I communicated in a confusing manner. I thought I read you were upset with JB getting called for pushing off and I wasn’t sure which instance you were talking about so I brought up 2. One in his favor and one that wasn’t.
