I prefer someone who aligns with my values. If her advisors haven't done any focus groups on how she's perceived, that's malpractice.

Not his first choice. Not his second choice. Not his third choice. His fourth choice. And so far, it has proven to be a disaster. Why Schumer didn’t get behind the candidate with a national platform and a national fundraising base is beyond me, but she is out of the race now and they can’t blame her for Haley’s lackluster performance anymore. A lot can change in three weeks, but Schumer and his allies are blowing a ton of money on a candidate who, at best, is tied with a man whose political career many deemed dead nearly a decade ago. A breathtaking fumble that appears more and more likely to end in a humiliating primary defeat for a leader who is completely out of touch with his party and a candidate and campaign whose performance has left even some of their biggest supporters frustrated. Democratic voters are telling party leadership they want something different. Ignore them at your own peril.

Platner holds all of the cards right now. Maine voters picked him. The nomination is his unless he relinquishes it. If he decides to play hardball with Maine Democrats they’re going to have to make a deal with him or he just won’t step aside. Tough spot for party leadership.

@pandem1cleo The Heinen's thing sucks but I'm pretty confident this will open the door to a new grocery store opening downtown. Probably better than Heinen's. Downtown has only been growing and getting better overall even since I moved down here.

This is devastating. Its one of the main reasons I moved downtown. There is still Constantino's but its not as good. Hopefully we get that Target,Trader Joe's or Whole Foods everyone has been asking for sooner than later.
