Many of the agencies that are supposed to help simply haven’t been interested, even after a @HousingOmbuds finding of severe maladministration. I’m incredibly grateful to @SHAC_Action for taking the time to listen and for giving this a platform. Cases like mine show the gap between Ombudsman findings and real protection for tenants.

And in there you promised to “enact the package of Law Commission proposals on leasehold enfranchisement, right to manage”. Your government doubled down in the King’s Speech, calling them vital to the draft Leasehold and Commonhold Reform Bill. Yet they disappeared on Tuesday!

@SHAC_Action We need housing associations to face same enforceable legal obligations,compliance, enforcement & accontability regime tenants & residents do not total lack of democratic control & oversight bodies that have let likes of @Devonshires solicitors usurp complaints & regs processes.
