Georgia is setting records for Early Voting so far. A lot of attention is paid to the high proportion of women voting, and rightfully so. What should also be noted it the 46.6k 2020 Non-Voters who have voted so far, 14% of the Early Vote to-date. #gapol

A little late in posting this, but a huge congratulations to Sagamore Hill Consulting’s client Lorraine Cochran-Johnson on her historic win last Tuesday night, becoming the first Black Woman to be elected as CEO of DeKalb County, GA!

If you've been properly targeting your win universe number based on higher turnout, then you should be comfortably overshooting expected voter universe with your outreach/awareness efforts. For campaigns strapped for cash, you might be able to scale down slightly as well.

Turnout in DeKalb Co advance voting continues to lag behind 22' turnout. Through Tuesday morn., turnout is approx. 71% of 22' early voting turnout. It's slightly lower if you factor in absentee voting. #gapol While not great for democracy, there is a silver lining for candidates

Right now, adv. voting turnout in DeKalb is about 1,750 off the 2022 pace at this same point three days in, don’t expect today to change that trajectory much. At this rate, project anywhere from 10k-20k fewer votes in DeKalb than 2022, raises questions for the rest of GA. #gapol
