Great afternoon yesterday hearing from Roseworth residents and delivering leaflets!

We called on Stockton Council to step in and press Thirteen to consider a rent freeze. When people are struggling, councils have both a responsibility to advocate on their behalf. We believe in standing up for residents, so we have written to Thirteen to raise our concern 💚

This week I asked Stockton Council if they’d write to Thirteen to urge them to implement a rent freeze, to support those struggling with rising costs 💚 Thirteen’s capital reserves have increased to £800 million, with a surplus of £34 million in just the past year alone.

Our priorities are clear: Make life more affordable. Protect the majority over the wealthy elite. Protect our planet for generations to come.
