Shift Up, les créateurs derrière le jeu Stellar Blade, vont unir leurs forces avec Unbound, le studio fondé par Shinji Mikami, l'un des papas de la saga Resident Evil ! Ce qu'il faut retenir de cette information, c'est qu'ils ambitionnent de créer un jeu qui sera un "chef-d’œuvre", du moins à en croire la déclaration de Shinji Mikami quant à cette association des deux studios. « C'est aussi un créateur, il travaille sur le terrain et se donne à fond pour concevoir des jeux. Après avoir discuté avec lui, nous avons décidé de poursuivre ensemble les mêmes objectifs. En d'autres termes, chez Unbound, nous allons créer un véritable chef-d'œuvre. »
