Philly Clash @madehoops SNIPERS 🎯 ‘27 Nic Rebracca - The 6’5 Jersey Force G was an absolute sniper this weekend. With his feet set he’s one of the best shooters around & lethal finding space in transition. Made 14+ 3s in 3 games. @NickRebracca ‘27 Grayson Golek - The Uptown W had a standout weekend. Using his size & frame to shoot over closeouts & mixed it up with some versatility driving & posting. HIGH MOTOR, crashes the glass hard on both ends. @GraysonGolek27 ‘27 Michael Kmetz - The big lefty G from 6th Boro made a case for one of the best shooters in the league. Gets his feet set quick & has a smooth quick trigger. Gets downhill well with physicality & playing off of closeouts. Not to mention, a LEGIT defender. @MikeKmetz7 ‘27 Cole Trn - The Sideline Cancer sharpshooter was knockdown all weekend. Off the move, off the dribble, in transition .. you name it. Elite at burning you for mistakes you make defensively & doesn’t need much room at all. Coaches can set the standard. But players decide if it lives or dies. The best players don’t just do it right. They make sure everybody else does too. When players start leading like coaches, winning stops being a hope and starts becoming a habit.

You’re talented… but you’re quiet. And that’s the problem. No voice = no leadership No sound = no power No energy = no impact Everybody wants to be “nice” Everybody wants to “do their thing” That’s not how teams win. Teams talk. Teams connect. Teams bring ENERGY every rep.

Everybody wants discipline… until discipline gets loud.
Everybody wants toughness… until toughness gets uncomfortable. Hard coaching isn’t abuse.
Hard coaching is correction.
Hard coaching is standards.
Hard coaching is loving a kid enough not to let him stay average. If a coach is demanding effort, detail, toughness, and accountability bothers you… that probably says more about today’s culture than it does the coach.

As an AD, I constantly remind our coaches what a captain really is. It is not always your best player, even though that is the ideal. It is the player who lives out your program’s culture every single day. The one who holds teammates accountable, shows up and works, puts the team first, and does the little things right when no one is watching. A captain is not just a talented kid who makes plays. It is the standard everyone else should follow.

“A lot of these kids haven’t been through toughness, like really hard things. Don’t save my daughter. Let her learn lessons the hard way. That develops resilience. That develops toughness. Toughness is relinquishing the illusion of control and understanding you’ve to to show up with a sense of urgency to do the right things,” Shea Ralph
