In celebration of Black History Month, we will celebrate the contributions and recognize leaders in the community. Kevin Durant was born in Prince George’s County and is currently a pro basketball player for the Phoenix Suns. He has opened the Durant Center in the county.🏀

PGCPS schools and offices will be closed Friday, January 19. There will be a two-hour delay for emergency personnel. A decision on Saturday athletics and facilities use is forthcoming. High School Visual and Performing Arts auditions will be rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3.
