On Friday, we took our Unified PE class to La Vida Adventure Pursuits! Our students enjoyed participating in team building activities & loved the Flying Squirrel too! Thank you to the Salem Education Foundation for their generous grant that funded this incredible opportunity!

We’re hosting a fundraiser on January 19 at Longboards! We will receive 20% of all food purchases while dining-in between 5-9pm. These fundraisers help pay for our Banquet, cover expenses for team bonding, & will also help our Unified PE class attend a field trip this Spring!

We have officially wrapped up 4 years of Salem Unified Sports! We’ve reached incredible heights since we launched in 2022 🎉 We’re excited to hang this new art installation in SHS to recognize the many athletes & coaches who have laid the foundation for our inclusive movement!

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our 65 student volunteers who helped run Unified Game Day! We are so proud of our commitment to inclusive leadership, & thrilled to see students with & without disabilities partner together to foster inclusive opportunities across SPS & beyond!

We’re thrilled that 17 of our athletes have qualified for the 2025 Unified Track & Field State Championships on May 28! We’re so excited to have our athletes represent our program (and all of Salem High) as they compete against the best Unified athletes in MA! 🔴🏆⚫️

Our Salem Unified Track team placed third at the Division 1 North Sectional Meet yesterday! Our Witches showed out with ten athletes placing first in their respective events. Salem’s 4x100 team also took home first place as well! #goWitch #choosetoinclude #playunified
