But how Eric came to be the skeleton in the @Stirling_High science department's closet remains a mystery. Look out for him next time you're in Science 💀 @SHS_ChemDep @shs_biology @SHS_Phys

When Eric died it is probable that his remains were sold to one of two London companies who traded in anatomical specimens because his family were unable to afford a funeral. This was common in this part of the world at the time.

The Skeleton in The Science Department Closet 💀 A thread 🧵 Yesterday we were lucky enough to have a visit from The Forensic Anthropologists from @dundeeuni who have spent the last few months analysing Eric, the skeleton who turned out to be real.

The advanced higher chemists have spent the morning making phone spectroscopes and comparing the emission spectra of different elements. Some great results! 🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣 @Stirling_High
