@Mengu09 @AdmiralVortex Yeah I was wrong on the populist claim. Apparently Brazil had a pretty successful program around a decade ago as well. Though China’s dealing with their own issues. Still people getting out of absolute poverty is always a good thing. I feel you on the leadership thing.

Italy 🇮🇹 officially surpassed Greece 🇬🇷 and it’s now the Country with the biggest Debt/GPD ratio of the European Union 🇪🇺. An important achievement that the Ultra-Conservative government was able to reach by focusing their politics on limiting other people rights. Way to go! 💪

@Mengu09 @AdmiralVortex That’s what I hate about populism conservatism or I suppose populism in general. it’s all about serving the interests of the leaders. I might be wrong but aside from Bonaparte and Caesar has there been a single populist who’s instituted effective reforms?

@SHalo4tw @AdmiralVortex Portugal and Spain were behind Italy just few years ago and now are climbing back. Everytime I hear anything about Spain PM I’m so envious and wonder how it happened. Probably just a charismatic leader that was able to convince the people that wouldnt vote to the voice of reason.

@AdmiralVortex I mean ‘superbonus’ was a politic play made the most populistic government of all time, ofc it was bad. In general though the current government was the only EU country to ally with Trump even when he was/is tanking our economy and refusing to address our ongoing energy crisis.

@NAVY_HOGS @bokoen1 If the Soviet Union hadn’t won the civil war, wouldn’t they still have fought the Nazi’s? It’s also quite possible that without all of the purges that the initial performance of the Russian Empire would be stronger than the Red Army. It’s not like Russia wasn’t rapidly
