PDO Essex! Impressive stuff from Mark Baines - Thorrington Mill, & winemaker Ben Smith at Itasca Wine. 2021 Pinot Noir Rosé was a stand out. Great to taste the now bottled Ark wines - doing many interesting things with East Anglian grapes ‘riesling included’

I am Harvey, Mark’s son, writing to tell you that yesterday he was sentenced to 5 weeks. He is now in Thameside prison. The sentence was for public nuisance. He sat on the road in the City of London.
