To ultimately get to my position, I had to leave many places. How you “leave” a place, speaks volumes. As a Principal, I would teach my staff HOW to leave me. I would say “tell me your goals so I can help you.” “Leave” a place as good as you found it.

Some chapters ended in pain. Some ended in confusion. Some ended without closure. But every chapter still served a purpose. Keep turning the page.

Tomorrow is Monday. I walk into this new week with peace, no stress, no drama, no setbacks. Just back-to-back blessings and good news.

I never fully understood Isaiah 60:22 until seasons made me question God’s timing. “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” I used to think every delay meant God had forgotten me, every closed door was a “no,” and every unanswered prayer was silence. But looking back, He wasn’t ignoring me. He was preparing me. Some blessings can’t be rushed, and miracles happen only when our hearts are ready. God’s timing isn’t slow; it’s intentional. So if you’re waiting today, don’t give up. Keep praying, believing, and trusting, even when you can’t see what He’s doing. Miracles happen every day, and God can change your life in a moment. What feels delayed may simply be Him aligning everything at the perfect time.

Today was extra special because I had the opportunity to bring my Hicks girls with me to experience the love, sisterhood, and service that makes our chapter Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. so great! Happy Saturday! 🔥🎉
