The evidence that it is safe to give IV thrombolysis for AIS patients on DOACs continues to build. This Australia New Zealand study used target trial emulation methodology to simulate an RCT. Stroke patient on DOAC therapy who received IVT had significantly better MRS 0–2 outcomes than those who did not, and actually had a lower risk of ICH (albeit non significant).
