Marvel Rivals has permanently banned nearly 500 players for cheating. The funny part is that most of the banned players were still stuck in Bronze rank, the lowest competitive tier. - 488 accounts were permanently banned for using cheats or modifying the game client. - 184 of those banned players were in Bronze rank. - Only 3 banned players had reached the game’s highest rank, “One Above All.” - NetEase denied rumors that players could disable the anti-cheat system with launch settings. - The company said repeat offenders could face stronger punishments later, including hardware or IP bans.

And then further studies of different groups to find the same results before they could be taken as fact.
