There are 7,159 known living languages in the world, and each one is someone's mother tongue. On this International Mother Language Day, we celebrate the vibrant diversity of the world's languages and the people who speak and sign those languages! 🎊 #IMLD

✍️The first edition of the Ethnologue was published in 1951 covering 46 languages. Today the 28th edition is being published, covering over 7,000 languages!
