Black Excellence week continues at SJAM. Today was rep your roots- everyone represented their cultural heritage!

Mme. North’s class were recognized for their incredible work creating a board game highlighting 52 African Nova Scotian communities. Félicitations !

Our KRC Coordinator & Myles from @BNMarathon had a busy day with 3 school visits! Thx to @SJAMschool teachers Amy North (photo) & Hayley Lucas & 3 @DalMedSchool coaches incl Tom & Darien for making KRC possible this year!

In our cooking club, we explored a Mi’kmaq recipe : Luskinikn! Students recognized similar recipes to ones they make with their families like bannock from Scotland , kitcha from Ethiopia and Puri from India. @SJAMschool
