A painting I painted over that looking back I wish I had just kept working at it. Perseverance is key and this painting has taught me that. ❤️

@kathydjourno I’m sure there are many others who feel exactly the same, Kathy, but can’t quite express it in such eloquent terms. For me your love for people is demonstrated through your own actions and words on a daily basis, not on a specific day that has now become so contrived.

Notes on Mother’s Day This Mother’s Day I do not want cards or chocolates or flowers. I do not want to go somewhere packed for lunch. I want to stay home and do nothing and quietly acknowledge in my own heart the mothering I do every day. 
I have been ambivalent about this

It’s no coincidence the last 4-6 weeks of positive results for @HullCity have coincided with the return of Charlie Hughes. Defensively we look so much stronger and better structured with him in the side and he’s a proper leader and warrior. And a very good footballer….#hcafc
