The Devil doesn’t always show up as a villain. Sometimes, he comes through the people we love most. It’s a hard truth, but the Gospel doesn't sugarcoat it. Think about Peter. He was fiery, devoted, and truly loved Jesus. But when he tried to stop Christ from going to the cross—out of a sincere desire to protect Him—Jesus didn't mince words: "Get away from Me, Satan!" (Matt. 16:23). Peter didn't realize the enemy was speaking through him. His love was real, but because it was "earthly"—fearing loss and pain—it became an open door for the enemy to step through. The Devil does not only come through evil people; he often comes through good ones—those who love us and fear for us. He moves through regret, affection, and the fear of losing a loved one.  It’s the same with Job. After losing his children, his wealth, and his health, his wife—the only person he had left—told him to "curse God and die" (Job 2:9). She wasn’t a villain; she was a suffering woman who couldn't bear to see her husband’s agony. Yet, in that dark moment, she became a mouthpiece for the one trying to break Job. The Lesson? Don’t look at people as your enemies. Instead, learn to discern which voice is speaking at that exact moment. Why don’t we hear about this more in Church? Because if we aren't careful, this topic can breed suspicion. We start seeing "the enemy" in our spouses or kids when they’re just being human. That’s a trap, too! The enemy loves it when fear destroys our relationships. We have to talk about this—but we must do it with love and discernment.

Among DTs with at least 200 snaps, Sebastian Joseph Day finished 6th in run stop rate in 2024 and 2025. Cam Heyward finished 3rd and 7th. Now the Steelers got em both.
