@KinselTom @mitchellvii Honda/Acura 3.5L V6 engines have serious bearing issues. I have a 2019 TLX that failed at 50k. Acura covered shortblock replacement 100%. My 2018 Odyssey failed at 120k, replaced with a used 30k engine 100% out of my pocket.

Research the car. Use AI. Grok is pretty knowledgeable on issues new cars have or will have. Stay away from anything GM like the 2.8 , 3.7 engine they're junk. Ford as well the 3.7 is junk. Research them ALL the newer cars have engine issues after a certain milage. Honda and Toyota not so much but still have problems.

I mean, you're insanely upside down from the moment you drive off a lot. Leasing can be better, but you're limited on miles. So now I have a choice. 1. Lease something new (I don't drive much so the miles don't really matter). 2. Buy used (2 years old, low miles, most of the depreciation is it already priced in). 3. Buy new (this is a hard no - depreciation is brutal). What should I do?

Charging at home can cost you under $3 a day. No more spending $60 a week on gas. The savings of driving an EV are HUGE and it starts on day one. What's stopping you from making the switch?
