HALFTIME: SMU 43, #Pitt 27. 16 points feels like a miracle considering how bad they've been. Though don't know how Austin's last shot didn't count considering the replay clearly showed the ball left his hand before time expired. Still, that is wayyyyy down the list of Pitt's problems today. As always, some @PittsburghPG notes: 👍Guillermo Diaz Graham playing well in his start. 10 points leads the team, as does 6 rebounds. 👍Pitt's winning offensive rebounding 11-4. I don't think they've done that to a power 5 opponent this year. 👎Where do I start on the bad? Well, turnovers. Pitt 8 turnovers, and despite SMU having 7, SMU has a 14-0 points off turnovers advantage. Be stronger with the ball. Jaland Lowe the main culprit with 4 turnovers and 3 assists. 👎SMU shooting 6/13 from deep. Some of those are good shots in tight defense, others could user better closeouts. If you're going to go down, go down fighting. 👎Some of the defensive rotations don't make sense. Like some of them are double teams that don't fit the right situations and nobody covers the back end of it. Just, bad. 👎Losing paint points 18-2. Cam Corhen having 3 fouls plays into this but you still have to stand up to them somehow in this area and Pitt hasn't.

@SJHMenHoopz @Greggolf15 The officials said they "went off the red light of the backboard" and that the shot wasn't off his fingers before that. But, the clock in the arena clearly showed the ball was gone. No replay was given of the backboard to confirm.
