This is my son, Levi. He’s 16, not old enough to vote yet, but he’s out today knocking doors for @MassieforKY. He has been all week. He approached me several weeks ago and asked for a walk book because he knows what is at stake in this election, and he knows that over $10 million has been spent lying about Thomas Massie and his record. He also knows that our economy is in the gutter and the government is spending money faster than they can print it, no matter what the talking heads on TV try to say. The national debt is currently $39 trillion dollars. That’s $114,127 per taxpayer. The Republican Party platform is AGAINST big government and wasteful spending, yet so-called "republicans" at the federal level continue voting to increase the national debt—most recently by $4 TRILLION dollars. And now, they are trying to vilify Thomas for voting NO on wasteful spending, as he has done his entire career. That extra $4 trillion that Thomas voted NO on added yet another $27,000 to the individual taxpayer burden, for a grand total of $141,127 per person. The last thing we need is to elect a no-show, no debate candidate who will be a rubber stamp for the tax and spend mentality that has been so pervasive in Washington D.C. for far too long. It’s sad that a week before this election people are making false and unsubstantiated allegations about me in an obvious attempt to influence the outcome of this election. All of the claims of inappropriate conduct are false. I’ve never offered anyone money in exchange for their silence. I report all of my farm income, including cash, to the IRS. There are no ethics claims filed against me, nor have there ever been any claims filed against me in my 14 years in office. I have consulted legal counsel and we are considering all options.

I was in Vegas and met with Massie during that time. He was scheduled to be there since before his wife passed. He had a booth and was speaking at Freedom Fest. When Lyn and I spoke with him and offered our condolences, he was deeply affected. He continued to work through his pain, which I found very brave of him. I find your attacks on him in poor taste. How is he supposed to grieve, according to you? Should he refuse to leave his house? If so, for how long? I don’t understand why you’re attacking a good man, quite frankly.
