Year 2 had fun this week at the Snowdome.

Alfie the elf arrived in year 2 yesterday fresh from the North Pole with a treat for the children. Even Santa knows the joy of a new glue stick.

Year 2 had great fun today taking part in the wolf run🐺we managed to escape the rain but still enjoyed crawling through the mud and the water slide.

It’s pirate day in Year 2 today… we’re solving some maths problems. @sjohnvianney

In Year 2 we have been developing our resilience by working methodically to solve some tricky challenges! @sjohnvianney

In Year 2 , we completed a challenge… Who can create the longest paper chain using 3x A3 sheets of paper? We thought about how to cut the paper, landscape/portrait, thick/thin and how to connect them. Congratulations to our winnng team! @sjohnvianney

We enjoyed our transition morning in Year 3. We have created postcards for ‘Find Your Happy’ using Sidney the Sloth and a fabulous book. We can’t wait for September! @SJVmiddle @sjohnvianney @SJVlower

Today, Year 2 have been learning and performing the poem ‘Captain’s Coming’ by @andyseedauthor. They have also been thinking of piratey rhyming words, ready to create some of their own stanzas later this week! @SJVlower

Year 2 had an exciting adventure on their Pilgrimage to the Catholic Church of the Precious Blood & All Souls. A huge thanks to Father Paul, who gave us a tour and lots of information about the difference statues, windows and artefacts. @sjohnvianney

Year 2 carried on with the Jubilee celebrations today in forest school. They created nature dresses for the Queen, nature crowns, medals and even a castle showing lots of creativity.

Year 1 had a fabulous time in Forest School today celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee. They had fun creating Jubilee sticks; building their own castles and thrones; designing some nature crowns. #PlatinumJubilee #forestschool 👑🌲 @sjohnvianney

Year 2 enjoyed their celebration lunch today for the platinum jubilee and gave a toast to Queen Elizabeth ll and thanks to our kitchen staff for all their hard work.🧁🎉👑
