It is significantly harder for you. Much much harder than it is for most others
You have to be better than everyone around you by an absurd margin. You have to put in levels of effort that most people will never understand, all for a fraction of a fraction of the support others get for simply existing. You’ll get abused, gaslit, slandered, emasculated, and used along the way. Very few people will actually help you. The space will put you under a microscope for every single thing you do while pretending it isn’t happening, waiting for you to slip up so they can tear you down for things they get away with constantly. Meanwhile, plenty of people openly support and push for things that would get you cancelled by millions
The deck is completely and utterly stacked against you
That’s still not an excuse to give up though. When in life wasn’t everything stacked against us? 😂 At least for me that was the case
Do what you love and love what you do. Work hard. Stop comparing your growth to everyone else’s—the things that work easily for them will not work for you. You’re playing a game that’s rigged against you in almost every way, and you’re still pushing? That’s fucking incredible
You’ve already survived shit that would’ve broken most people, and you’re still here building something. That’s fucking incredible
Keep pushing. Be the best version of yourself and inspire others while you’re at it. A lot of people sold out even while everything was and is unbelievably easy. You’re still fighting even when legit everything around you wants to see you fail, or worse. That’s rare. The space needs way more of that energy
Yeah, it’s fucking hard. But when you make it, you’ll know you earned every single bit of it. The battles you’ve fought, most people wouldn’t have survived. And you’re still standing
Fight. Push harder than you ever have. Show people what’s actually possible. Show people what strength and tenacity actually is and then remember who was there, as well as who wasn’t
