@ktran55 youtu.be/Eb9FkLNJLzs?si…
Watch the start of this interview with jim roppel. Took him 5-7 years. The worst was after the first year of becoming profitable. «The later years of the learning curve after making money was really painful. Like throw up in a garbage can».

Didn’t want to post this, but here it goes.
Think I’m going call it here.
Taking a serious break from trading and social media…
I love trading, and I have a passion for it.
However, these past few months, trading has been less enjoyable and actually stressful.
I’m a pretty chill guy, and I don’t get stressed, but am definitely stressed out from trading recently.
It’s affecting me mentally and emotionally.
It’s getting to the point where trading dictate my mood for the day, and my family sees it. They don’t deserve to see me in a crap mode, because I traded like crap.
I’ve been trading options for 4-5 years, and futures for 1.5 years.
For the first time in those five years, last year was profitable and I was so ecstatic about it. Imagine being unprofitable, and then turning profitable. Best feeling yet.
But, I think it’s time for a break to do some damage control, and to reset myself.
Never really took a break at all cause I was hungry all the time.
But now I’m probably going take a few weeks, or even months, or hell maybe longer whenever I’m ready.
My ultimate goal for trading was to financial provide for my family and actually spend more time with my family, but blowing accounts recently has not really done really financial good for me.
I guess that’s the reality of trading in a drought right?
Shit, I don’t want to even post this post to be honest.
It’s embarrassing to say the least. But I’m being honest and vulnerable to ya’ll.
It’s just the other side of trading reality that no one really talks about.
Never proclaimed to be a trading guru, or anything like that.
Just simply a random guy, trying bring some extra bread on the side.
Anyways…
Writing this made me tear up a little bit, cause I know I have it in me, but it’s not clicking.
So therefore, I will take a much needed break.
Going just grind it out with nursing, and pay off some of these expenses I’ve occurred.
I guess the good thing about taking a break is less time I’m on my phone watching charts. And more time spending with my toddler and newborn.
Sorry for the vent, but maybe I’ll look back at this post in a year or maybe years and see how far I’ve come.
Anyways, love yall, and hope you guys kills it.
This is not forever, just temporary.
Peace out.

@babyfolio To me the strongest names are at the moment: FSLY, CIEN, TSEM, DELL, DOCN, ADEA, LITE.
Also think Tesla will be very strong next couple of mounths.

Its over.
And I've lost about everything (real) -
$100 to my name.
1 year ago i was a millionaire.
Now I will have to think about how to pay the bills.
Im not joking.
Idk where to start. I've done everything already, sales, engineering, marketing, copywriting, trading, photography, being a retard clearly..the list goes on.
Life resets are not easy and they get harder the older we get. Im in my 30's.
This trading game costs people their lives, and I'm afraid of that end.
If I dont respond Its cause I'm tired. Im resting.
Good luck out there for a little while at least.
Nobody probably cares to read this, everyone will skip over it.
Its just a blip anyway. Just take care of yourselves.

@CFCFactosv4 «gets involved for no reason». What a stupid comment. He is trying to save the ball maybe? Its easy to say after the fact..

I've enjoyed my break but preparing to get back to work.
So going through some charts for the first time a long time. I Need to rebuild watch list etc...
New themes will develop, metals, big pharma, but no need to rush in.
Some observations.
1.) lot of precious metal strength. But all this strength in precious metals is generally not a good sign for the market.
2.) AI / AI Energy driven trade looks tired w/ decent short setups. - Most of the names on my watch list from last year now look like stocks to short.
3.) Next year is likely to be a more difficult market environment. Need to pare expectations. Look for small wins in slower stocks - charts with strength include $DD $GM $JNJ - and other names I'd have taken a pass on over last few years because too slow.
4.) $TSLA - last gasp on $500 rejection? or start of a new move? - this is question, we'll be looking closely at into Q1.

@dragonslayer_87 @aksjefokus @KvammeSteffen Kun dagens utvikling! Kontoverdien er korrekt, da det er spotkurser på valuta som ligger grunn for de tallene

@NordnetNO!

Kan dere fikse daglig avkastning ordentlig? Det er konsekvent feil og har vært det i flere måneder nå.
Etter hva jeg har erfart startet dette når dere lanserte muligheten for å handle i førhandelen.
Takk.

@TaPlot @marketsurge Why is too many eyes a bad thing? The Tesla trade had every trader watching and it worked. Same with the famous Nvidia breakout. Big institutions drive the market, and they dont care about the small players.
English

Probably too many eyes on $MP from growth traders so hard to see this not shaking out below its recent low and 50 MA.
I am already in from 09/09.
Sink or Swim next week for this one.
