2nd Grade-We have been learning about community workers for two weeks. "What Do I Want to Be?" is about a girl named Zoe that interviews different community workers to help figure out what she would like to be when she grows up. Today, students interviewed their classmates.
In honor of letter U, some kindergarten students had the opportunity to stand upside down on their heads today! The kids did not think Mrs. Hohlbein could do it, so she had to prove them wrong!
This week we are recognizing Red Ribbon Week and the importance of committing to living a healthy, drug free lifestyle. The 2020 theme is "Be happy. Be brave. Be drug free." Thanks to the Springfield Area Prevention Coalition, for helping to help promote Red Ribbon Week!

Mrs. Newcombe has always followed the saying, "Find a penny, pick it up. All day long, you'll have good luck." She did an experiment with her class on Friday, to discover what would shine up a dull penny. What a fun experiment and way to learn scientific method.
