Congratulations to our speech & language therapy team, HMP Holme House, Stockton who won a @nepacsinfo Ruth Cranfield Award. The award highlights the work of exceptional teams or innovative good practice in promoting rehabilitation of offenders. tewv.nhs.uk/nepacs-award #TEWVstars

@ForensicOT_ELFT I feel SLT’s are more underrated, not with grading, but why there are not teams of them everywhere in forensics, I’ll never understand. Majority of our SU’s have social communication difficulties & we’re stumbling in the dark without SLT assessment. So valuable & so invisible!

@teesuniot The results are in!! The judges have debated, argued, and guzzled copious amounts of coffee, but after much heartache and deliberation the shortlist for our logo competition is as follows (please see thread for images and vote by Monday for our winner 😊):

Young person on my caseload w/ #DevLangDis. Social worker to YP in 1:1 “You really need to listen to Mrs X (teacher). Her opinion holds a lot of weight”. Few days later YP in school meeting says to teacher “Social worker called you a fat c*nt” #SLCN #Keepitsimple #gottalaugh
