MY PEOPLE OF OSHODI-ISOLO CONSTITUENCY II,
You are the reason I work.
You are the reason I keep pushing.
You are my purpose and my motivation.
For the past 3 years, I have walked this journey with you not from afar, but side by side with the people. Together, we have achieved meaningful progress across our communities.
We fixed roads where potholes once caused frustration and hardship.
We installed streetlights to brighten our streets and improve safety at night.
We distributed palliatives to support families during difficult times.
We replaced damaged transformers so homes, businesses, and students could have light again.
But we did not stop there.
We empowered women with opportunities to become financially independent.
We trained and equipped youths with skills for a better future.
We created programs to support the girl child because every daughter of Oshodi-Isolo deserves the chance to succeed.
We encouraged and supported talented young people so they can dream bigger and achieve more.
Beyond the constituency, I carried your voice to Abuja. I sponsored impactful bills and motions aimed at changing the trajectory of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, and I remain committed to pushing them to final passage because our future cannot wait.
I have never served with pride or arrogance. I served as your son, your brother, and your representative, focused not on titles, but on delivering results that make our people proud.
I may not be perfect, but my commitment to service has always been genuine. The work speaks for itself.
On Thursday, I humbly ask for your support during the primaries. Stand with me once again so together we can finish what we started.
I promise greater empowerment, more opportunities for our youths and women, and a stronger voice fighting to bring the dividends of democracy closer to every doorstep in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II.
I did not go to Abuja to make noise.
I went there to work for you.
Let us continue this journey together.
Let us keep building a stronger Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II.
With gratitude and love,
Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi
Your Representative.

Dear constituents and Nigerians,
There has been misleading information circulating about the diligent residents selected for the Tourism Development Training in China, particularly concerning Mr. Samuel Ajayi-Crowther. I consider it important to set the record straight.
Mr. Samuel Ajayi-Crowther was duly selected and participated as one of the beneficiaries of the China Tourism Development Training facilitated under my sponsorship. His inclusion was part of a transparent selection process, and like every other beneficiary, his participation was properly documented.
It is unfortunate that some individuals have chosen to spread false narratives in an attempt to discredit a genuine empowerment and capacity-building initiative designed to expose constituents to global best practices in tourism, enterprise, and development.
The attached evidence clearly shows Samuel Ajayi-Crowther’s participation in the China trip, putting to rest any unfounded claims suggesting otherwise.
My commitment remains focused on creating real opportunities for the people of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II through education, exposure, training, and empowerment. I will not be distracted by baseless propaganda or deliberate misinformation.
Facts will always speak louder than falsehood.

One of the most hilarious experiences is seeing these Yoruba Supremacists, that call themselves Yoruba Activists get into a fit, when you tell them a bit of history.
Abuses like "You are a Fulani slave" "Eru Arabo", just fill up your timeline.
No humility to at least read up on others history, culture or geography, and how it interacts with ours.
In the 18th century, the natron, used by the Efik, was gotten from Lake Chad basin.
In the 18th century, The Ijebu were the specialist makers of a coarse type of cloth used by slaves and poor people in Northern Nigeria.
The same Ijebu had been selling Aso Olona to Portuguese since 16th century, who also traded it in Sai Tome And Kingdom of Kongo.
In the 18th century, the Nupe were regarded as the most excellent weavers in the North.
Prior to the 18th century, the Yoruba used to obtain horses from Tripoli, using Kanuri middle-men.
And that Yoruba (Old Oyo) used to depend on importation of a large number of Hausa slaves and saw them as an economic asset.
In fact, the Hausa slave revolt of the early 19th century accelerated the decline of Old Oyo and when Clapperton visited Old Oyo, Alaafin Majotu in 1825, Oyo was in decline.
A known Oyo proverb is "Sabaruma je di e lobi, keyin o to pon"
"Sabaruma (Hausa Slave) ate more than enough kola nuts before his teeth turned brown."
Even in the 19th century, Methodist missionary archives recorded messengers of the Sultan of Sokoto were with Sodeke of Abeokuta, in December 1842.
And Reverend JB Wood recorded the Sultan of Sokoto making efforts to persuade the Yoruba to end their civil war.
Or that Balogun Ogundipe of Abeokuta was sending messages to Emir Masaba of Nupe around 1870.
So, it is extremely funny when they reject any notion of Arabic/Ajami being present before European colonizers and missionaries.
Did you not read about Trans-Saharan trade routes?
Songhay empire alone extended over territories in modern day Mali, Mauritania, Niger Republic, Nigeria, Senegal.
Their cultural influences persist to this day.
Arabic-based loan words like
Alubosa/Alabasa (onion), Alaruba/Laraba (Wednesday), Alamisi/Alhamis (Thursday), Jimoh/Jumma (Friday), Imamu/Imam, Alafia/Lafia (wellness).
Or Songhay words like "Alfa" and "Barakoi" that Oyo changed to Alfa and Parakoyi.
You have a tonne of Arabic loan words, in Yoruba till date, but don't want to agree that Arabic and Ajami was first used to document Yoruba history, medicine or poetry.
Let me end this with Professor Bamiro's insight on Arabic influence on our history.
“The Arabic scholars of the present, drawing from the Arabic scholars of the past, will be able to bring before us the events of the past ages of Nigeria, so as to help us write a history we may rightly call our own.”
The truth doesn't care about your feelings.
Who knows maybe some of you abusing us, are descended from those Sabaruma in Old Oyo, calling indigenous Yorubas slaves.
You are now "Think Yoruba First" or "Yoruba Nation".
Pushing religious agenda under guise of ethnic consciousness.
Awon Oniyeye😂😂😂
