As I conclude a successful State Visit to Sri Lanka, I depart with renewed resolve to further strengthen the close and longstanding relations between the Maldives and Sri Lanka. I thank the Government and people of Sri Lanka for the warm hospitality and friendship extended to me, my wife and delegation. I am encouraged by the productive discussions held with Your Excellency, as well as Prime Minister @Dr_HariniA, on a myriad of issues, and look forward to working together to implement our shared commitments into meaningful outcomes, for the mutual benefit and prosperity of our two nations.
