@SListerDesign @fuzzyfromyt The runner on third base can't leave the base until the ball is caught. Catching the ball at a lower point than expected (fly balls like that are typically caught around head height) could cause the runner on third to jump the gun and illegally leave the base early.

I’m way late… But this is some pretty fun baseball IQ from Drew Gilbert in center. He caught the ball as low as *physically possible* to try and get the runner to leave a hair early (then he unleashed a throw that didn’t need a bounce LOL)
