In follow up to the inside-out underpants, just discovered that I’ve had one sock inside out for the past 13 hours. Who let me be an adult?

Some days you’re winning, and other days you discover that your underpants are inside out and backwards at the end of your shift.

Can someone please explain why I put on ‘some pants’ and ‘some underwear’ but not ‘some bra’ and also why English is the worst language? @HelenZaltzman PLS

@gwatsky This dropped at just the right time to get me through a tough paediatric emergency department shift where I’m only about an hour and a half in but already wading through a sea of patients. Thanks man.

Rural Ontario emerg docs, are you using the ED peer-to-peer service? I’ve called about 5 times and each time received friendly, helpful advice from someone who seems genuinely interested in helping me! Highly recommend!

To plant a garden is to have hope for tomorrow, or something like that. I just can’t believe that I had the forethought to plant bulbs 7 months ago, and the patience to wait for beautiful flower babies. I’m beaming!
