@MrBenGrant Nottingham is a training hub for Ryanair, they use Prestwick for practicing take offs and landings as it isn't that busy and has a long (forgiving!) runway.

As i check flight radar to see what’s flying over the house, I often see a flight Prestwick to Nottingham or Nottingham to Prestwick with Ryanair who is making that journey? Surely that’s not a busy route?
