I'm too sick to be able to make it down to Miami for the city commission meeting. My husband edited this video from audio of my planned comments & videos of where "homeless assistance" stranded us, sucking us into a blackhole of dependency on their & their partners' "assistance."

Hi! I'm a homeless person from the @CityofMiami here to tell you that @FrancisSuarez is full of 💩. Homeless assistance is a JOKE run by well-connected political donor. It took a COMMUNITY effort to get them to put us up in a Hialeah hooker motel, but our child can't stay w/ us.

VICTORY!!!! After a long time of advocacy for housing justice, Miami-Dade county voted to move forward today with the Community Land Trust prototype program! 50 county owned lots will now be placed into a CLT for the purpose of creating community controlled affordable housing!

10) If you want home values to go up that means you don't want homes to be affordable. Trying to do both is what gets us an absurd policy landscape where on the one hand we do all we can to prop up home values and on the other we subsidize demand driving up prices even more.
