It’s officially Mentor Madness season! 🍧 We kicked off the mentor reveal with Tikiz Shaved Ice! Every 3rd–5th grader has a campus mentor to support their goals and build confidence this spring. #TheKnightWay 💜

This evening we hosted our annual Talent Show and it did NOT disappoint! From magic & singing to gymnastics & dancing, our Knights showcased incredible talent and confidence on stage. We are so proud of each and every one of them for sharing their gifts with our community! 🤩👏🏽

🎉🌟 Rodriguez Elementary, San Marcos CISD Café is celebrating NSBW in style! 🍎🥞 The Rodriguez team kicked off National School Breakfast Week with festive decorations that brought big smiles to our students this morning! 🎈✨ It’s more than just a meal — it’s an experience. When our cafeterias create a welcoming, fun atmosphere, it makes breakfast even more exciting and helps students start their day on a positive note. A huge thank you to the Rodriguez Elementary Café team for going the extra mile to make NSBW special for their campus! Day 9 of Holiday Spirit was Holly Jolly Hat Day! ☺️❤️ Big thanks to Chepo’s and our very own Mr. Vasquez for treating our staff to tasty breakfast tacos this morning! 🌮🙌🏽

It was a Merry Monday in our PJs for Day 8 of Holiday Spirit! 🎄🛌 Our teachers and staff also enjoyed Olive Garden soup, salad, & breadsticks, generously provided by Cadena Trucking— the warm treat was greatly appreciated 🍲🤍

We proudly hosted our 3rd annual Rodriguez Gives Back event 🎁✨ Together our teachers,staff,& community partners supported San Marcos families with gift cards, shoes, household essentials, haircuts, gifts,&a meal. We’re grateful for the generosity that makes this event possible!

It’s Day 7 of Holiday Spirit, and our Knights kept it cozy in their flannels! 🪵Big shoutout to RBFCU for sponsoring a tasty Manas lunch for our staff! ♥️

Huge thanks to the San Marcos Education Foundation! They spread holiday cheer across #SMCISD as they announced the winners of the Winter ’25 Innovative Teaching Grants — awarding $14,100 in this round and bringing the 25–26 school year total to $50K in support of teaching!

Our 1st graders jingle bell ROCKED their performance at Sights & Sounds! ☺️ Huge shoutout to our music teacher and our first grade team for their dedication in preparing and supporting our Knights! 🤶🏽🎄 #TheKnightWay ❤️💚

Day 6 of Holiday Spirit didn’t disappoint! 🎄 Our Knights decked the halls in their best Christmas fits, and our staff enjoyed a sweet treat thanks to Small City Customz. ❤️✨

Holiday Spirit Day 5: Grinch Day! 💚 Our Knights brought so much joy and cheer, it could’ve made the Grinch’s heart grow three sizes! 🎄💚

We celebrated Day 4 of Holiday Spirit in a Winter Wonderland! 💙❄️ Knights dressed in blue, white & silver, and our admin team treated staff to holiday-flavored ice cream. 🍨✨
