@SMChristian

Life is complex it has both a real and imaginary part. These are my opinions, I clearly could be wrong.

@angelohikebike @JimboStanford @IRPP Canada's population has been out (about 3%) growing the GDP (about 2%). US - has done a bit better GDP but the population 0.5% (Albama - little beter at 0.7%) So yeah GDP/Population sure Albama may win but GDP per captia doesn't repreent the what median person sees.

Puleeeeze one more time: GDP per capita is NOT remotely a measure of standard of living, which by every concrete metric is lower in Alabama than in Canada. We aren't paid GDP per capita, and we don't consume GDP per capita. My critique for @irpp: policyoptions.irpp.org/2025/04/numera… #canlab

Alabama does have a higher standard of living compared to Canada, with a GDP per capita of $66,000 USD compared to Canada’s $54,000. It’s also got warm beaches, great food, and home to NASA’s primary hub for rocketry and propulsion.

@lookner Leaders will not come out until most seats are reporting. It will likely be Green (wiped out) - may not cover, BQ, NDP then Cons and finally Liberals IF these numbers hold up.

@lookner CAREFUL - It's a WIN (most seats) - does not mean Majority. If news outlet call a Majority - that's a full win.  At this point it's a minority government.

FYI - you also may want to explain given it's leading, if a party goes above 172 - they may not call the election. As it maybe only 1 of 230 type polls in a riding. @lookner
