Ethan Hooker's first try with isiXhosa commentary might be the best video of the entire season 🤣🍝🥣 #SSRugby #QuilterNS

And the play was already on his way down, clearly tackled by Hooker at the legs. There is absolutely no reason for Mostert to make that hit. He could’ve stayed on his feet and went for the ball to get a better outcome.

in the Lood and Franco red card cases , I think it is quite simple to “untangle” and to hold it up to the light we got more than enough video footage to go over , and we got World Rugby own protocol’s to see how they arrive at that decisions and if the decisions was correct. and there is maybe another conclusion we can draw at the end of it all… first , Lood went in with no arm. Ramos level change so he took the shoulder to the head. 1) clear head contact 2) Lood always reckless so no mitigation 3) red card. fine ✅ then Franco , also went in with no arm. 1) but no head contact 2) so the protocols doesn’t come into play 3) should have been a yellow. adjudication error ❌ the issues i take away is obviously that World Rugby is failing at making the right calls within own framework. and also that they “over cooking” the constant use of TMO in the flow of play. it is like my mother in law in my ear all the time over December holiday and it mean we just can not have a lekker time and enjoy ourself. but i also take away that in both cases the Springboks did not wrap… we can’t escape this guys it wil be easy for the Boks to look outward and purely be victims. but it is also worth to look inward and ask if they doing things in the right way. weather we got treated unfairly or not , the fact remain if you go in with a shoulder you opening yourself up to messy situations 🤷🏻‍♂️

The passage before Pollard went for the drop goal sums it all up. Pollard directed forwards to crash it up same side until they got to the lefthand touchline then he told them to go again coming back in field. Manie or Sacha call for the ball after a strong carry.

We just do not look like scoring a try when Pollard is on the field.

All it took to score tries easier was for Manie to enter the game.

🚨 Lood de Jager’s Springboks season is over. 🚨 The lock has been banned for four matches. Statement from #QuilterNS: South Africa number 5, Lood de Jager before an independent Disciplinary Committee this afternoon via video link having received a red card for an act of foul play contrary to Law 9.16 in the match between France and South Africa on Saturday 8th November 2025.         The independent Disciplinary Committee was chaired by Jennifer Donovan (Ireland), joined by former referees Val Toma (Romania) and Donal Courtney (Ireland). The Disciplinary Committee has upheld the red card issued to the player and by applying World Rugby’s sanctioning provisions, have determined that the mid-range entry point of six weeks/matches was appropriate. Mitigating factors were applied by the Committee reducing the six-week entry point by two weeks, thus reducing the final sanction to four weeks/matches. The suspension will cover the following matches: •15 November 2025 – Italy vs South Africa, Quilter Nations Series •22 November 2025  – Ireland vs South Africa, Quilter Nations Series •29 November 2025  – Wales vs South Africa, Quilter Nations Series •14 December 2025 - Wild Knights v Toshiba Brave Lupus, Japan League One * * The player has additionally been given permission to apply to take part in World Rugby’s Coaching Intervention Programme to substitute the final match of their sanction which is aimed at modifying specific techniques and technical issues that contributed to the foul play.

@jaredwright17 One bad game is all it takes to make this conclusion? Bulls were cooking earlier in the competition with him at 10. Pollard came back and he was dropped for no reason. Pollard left again and he has a bad game now he is not good enough? Argh please.

Keagan Johannes is a good stop-gate option at fly-half, but on the evidence of the first 25 minutes today, he is not really fit for the role against top teams.
