🏆 “GUARDIANS ”by CineFilm wins International Prize at SERIAL BRIDGES RIO DE JANEIRO🏆 🇧🇷 The Serial Bridges workshop, organized by Series Mania Institute at Rio de Janeiro, has awarded the series project “Os Guardiões/ Guardians” as this year’s winner. The prize, announced last Friday at RioMarket during the Rio Film Festival, will allow the showrunner and screenwriter of “Guardians“ to attend @SeriesManiaPro in Lille, France, in March 2025. Created by José Eduardo Belmonte and Graciele Guarani and produced by Fernanda Senatori at Cinefilm, this series project tells the story of indigenous people who form an armed patrol to protect their land from destruction. As part of the workshop, eight Brazilian producer/showrunner duos with a series project, were selected from all over Brazil to participate: ▪ « Dog Walker » by Beirada Produções (RJ), represented by João Hombeeck and Milla Monteiro ▪ « Labirinto » by Muritiba Filmes, with Mano Cappu and Juliana Sakae ▪ « Ligações Perigosas » by Indústria Imaginária, with Ana Maria Moretzsohn and Ricardo Nauenberg ▪ « Mulher de Ferro » by Sanuto Produções, represented by Jarsom Wayans and Emanuele Cristina Sanuto Barbosa Mendes  ▪ « Picolé, Pintinho e Pipa » by Black Pen Filmes, with Gustavo Melo and Mariana Veil ▪ « Tornando-se Tarsila » by Gullane Entretenimento, with Janaína Tokitaka and Ana Saito ▪ « A Verdadeira História de Pedro » by Ocean Films, with Aleksei Abib and Analu Bambirra The Workshop has the support of Rio filme, a public company linked to the Municipal Secretary of Culture, Prefeitura do Rio, Projeto Paradiso , SICAV , Ambassade de France au Brésil, festival do rio , Rio Market and Firjan.
