St Mirren Football Club can confirm that we have been approached by Aberdeen FC to speak to manager Stephen Robinson in relation to their managerial vacancy. Aberdeen have met a contractual clause in Stephen’s contract so the club has granted them permission to speak to him regarding the vacancy. We hope for a swift resolution to this matter and will keep supporters updated.

It’s too simplistic to say St Mirren’s form has nosedived since winning the cup. In truth they’ve been poor for most of the campaign. No away win in the league for 6 months tells its own story. It’s the two games at Hampden that are the outliers.
