Also should probably clarify for those who missed it, the "earlier remark" was a silly knock at the film and the previous controversies. Anyway, make cool art, don't be a dick, and call this stuff out when you see it. We lack lawyers/unions but we've got each other.

It's good to see the community pretty unanimously speak out against Lotus. Now it's up to the rest of us to make sure our projects are safe and that those who cause harm are kept FAR AWAY from these positions where they can exploit those around them. (3/3)

Additionally, it's extremely sad how all of this paints the entire fan-film community in a bad light. This is not a space that should be home to that kind of behavior. Creators in this space need to be proactive and cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment. (2/3)
