@Anniebanananie1 @DiscussingFilm Okay. First of all, that is a bad example. That shit should not have won Best Picture. Matter of fact, this film isn't even original. It's an adaptation, which is another common type of film in Hollywood. Second, new original films aren't rare as I already implied.

it depends how good its hiting. i used to work in theaters the first mario movie ran for a very long time around half a year if i remember correctly.
