February 17, 2026: We celebrated 17th Foundation Day at IIT Indore. Glad to received Best Research Paper Awards for the year 2025 for our publication in Chem Sci titled “Tailored design of an oxygen-rich stable Co-MOF integrated with MXene nanofibers as advanced heterostructures for high-performance ammonium-ion supercapacitors.” Many Congratulations 🎉 to Nissar @Nissar_IITI for this wonderful work. Pleasure to received the award from our distinguished guests Dr. Sharad Kumar Saraf, Chairperson, BoG, IIT Jammu and the Chairman and Managing Director of Technocraft Group of Industries and Shri Saket Chaturvedi, Chief Executive Officer (MiG Complex),  Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Nashik. This is our 3rd Research Paper awards from the institute 2017, 2018 and 2025. However, this award for the year 2025 has been very special as we are still in the celebration mode for 2025 Nobel Prize In Chemistry on Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) and this award is great recognition to our group for our MOFs work from the institute in the same year! Cheers to a wonderful SMM Group @smmgroup_iiti at IITI for their enormous efforts without which this consistency is not possible. Thanks to Jury, Dean of Faculty Affairs, Dean RnD, Director IIT Indore and Head Chemistry @IITIOfficial @ChemistryIITI for their constant support and dear students and colleagues and staffs for their well wishes. All together a Good Celebration 🎉

Turns out trash can make hydrogen 😌⚡ We converted stainless-steel scrap (dish scrubbers!) and RO reject (salty wastewater) into H₂, no precious metals, no fresh water, no hype. Just waste → fuel. Grateful to @ANRFIndia for funding #PMECRG. 🙏♻️ doi.org/10.1021/acs.en…

Liver tissue function relies on cells’ spatial organization and interactions within a 3D microenvironment. Many previously reported liver-on-chip models fall short of replicating higher-order organization of diverse cell types. We fabricated a membrane-free liver-on-achip (MF-LOC) using CGRGDS peptide-modified PEGDA hydrogel that provides a native-like 3D microenvironment for encapsulated HepG2 cells and NIH-3T3, and offers a platform for HUVEC monolayer formation. CGRGDS enhances cell adhesion and signaling via integrin binding, strengthens HUVEC adhesion and prevents cell detachment caused by shear stress of tangential flow. Functional validation confirmed prolonged albumin and urea secretion, with MF-LOC exhibiting sustained CYP1A1 enzyme activity compared to microsomes, highlighting its ability to replicate liver-like metabolism.
